Expelling the director from the Party to 'keep the company from making long-term losses'

During the process of operating the 100% state-owned company, the director was lax in management, causing prolonged losses, so the Standing Committee of Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee decided to expel him from the Party.

On the morning of October 27, a leader of the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee said that the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee had issued a disciplinary decision in the form of "expelling from the Party" Mr. Pham Duc Thang (53 years old) - former Chairman of the Board of Directors, Director of Nam Nung Company Limited (Nam Nung Commune, Krong No District, Dak Nong Province).

On October 18, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province also decided to remove Mr. Thang from office.

Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee also issued a warning to the Party Committee of Nam Nung Company Limited for slackening its leadership and direction role; not strictly implementing the working regulations of the Party Committee; and violating regulations on Party activities.

According to the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, during his time leading Nam Nung Company, Mr. Thang was irresponsible, lax in management and direction, allowing many shortcomings and violations to occur.

The violations that led to Mr. Thang being expelled from the Party and dismissed from office were due to ineffective production and business activities, losses lasting for many years with large sums of money, such as the ineffective planting of 300 hectares of mahogany trees; the inability to control and pay due debts, unpaid salaries, and insurance premiums of officers and employees for a long time.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, the company still owes social insurance 27.7 billion VND.

In addition, Mr. Thang is also primarily responsible for the delay in implementing the equitization roadmap of Nam Nung One Member Co., Ltd., incomplete documents, failure to implement democratic regulations, and failure to publicize production and business results...
