Launch of the Chinese-language People's Army Electronic Newspaper
Within the framework of activities to celebrate the 87th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2012), on the morning of June 19, at the headquarters of the People's Army Newspaper (Hanoi), the People's Army Newspaper held the Opening Ceremony of the Chinese-language People's Army Electronic Newspaper.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Pham Van Linh; Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Vietnam Kong Xuanyou; Representatives of central agencies, departments, branches and units outside the Army, along with many press and media agencies attending and reporting.
On this occasion, General Phung Quang Thanh, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense sent a congratulatory flower basket to the People's Army Newspaper.
The launch of the People's Army Newspaper in Chinese helps Chinese readers and Chinese speakers around the world have an additional source of accurate, reliable, and attractive information to better understand the country and people of Vietnam, the viewpoints, guidelines, and policies of the Party and State of Vietnam, and to better understand a peace-loving, innovative, dynamic, democratic, and developing Vietnam.

At the ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper, Major General Le Phuc Nguyen affirmed that Vietnam and China are two friendly neighboring countries. In the context of the profound and complicated developments in the world and the region, the further strengthening of strategic trust and comprehensive close cooperation between the two Parties and countries of Vietnam and China is in line with the fundamental and long-term interests of the two Parties, two countries and peoples, beneficial to the cause of socialism in each country, and beneficial to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
Together with the Vietnamese and English versions of the People's Army Newspaper and other publications of the People's Army Newspaper, the Chinese version of the People's Army Newspaper will contribute to propagating the guidelines, policies, viewpoints and lines of the Party, State and our army; implementing Vietnam's foreign policy of multilateralization and diversification, contributing to strengthening the traditional neighborly friendship between the armies and peoples of Vietnam and China.
