Opening of the National Assembly Electronic Information Portal

On the morning of April 6, at Ba Dinh Hall, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung pressed the button to launch the National Assembly Electronic Information Portal.

Also attending the opening ceremony were Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly: Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Huynh Ngoc Son, Uong Chu Luu and leaders of many ministries, branches and Committees of the National Assembly.

Head of the National Assembly Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc said that in order to meet the requirements and demands of information and propaganda about the National Assembly in the current context of innovation, in Resolution No. 27/2012/QH13, the National Assembly decided on many contents, including the establishment of the National Assembly Electronic Information Portal.

Implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly, in 2013, the Office of the National Assembly deployed the construction of the Electronic Information Portal - a unit integrating electronic administrative information and multimedia information agency of the National Assembly on the basis of the project "Upgrading the National Assembly's electronic information page to the National Assembly's Electronic Information Portal".

The purpose of building the National Assembly Electronic Information Portal is to create an environment for communication, providing information, propagating policies, guidelines and promoting the image of the National Assembly to the people, voters in the country, our compatriots abroad and international friends in two languages: Vietnamese and English.

Operating the National Assembly Electronic Information Portal is a step-by-step process of creating an online electronic service environment to support the operations and application of information technology of the National Assembly's units; ensuring the coordination of each agency, unit, and National Assembly delegation in building the e-National Assembly.

Accordingly, the National Assembly's electronic information portal integrates and updates information and images on the organization and activities of the National Assembly, the National Assembly leadership, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Nationality Council and the National Assembly Committees, the Committees under the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Office, the National Assembly delegation, and the National Assembly deputies.

In addition, the National Assembly Online TV Channel allows viewing and reviewing discussions during National Assembly sessions, meetings of the National Assembly Standing Committee, and working sessions of National Assembly agencies. Integrating various systems, including the online Draft page to collect public opinions on draft laws, a page for voters to ask delegates, a database of legal documents... Convenient services and access features from smartphones and tablets...
