Opening of Vinh-Da Nang flight route
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, December 9, the People's Committee of Nghe An province coordinated with Vietnam Airlines to organize the opening ceremony of the Vinh - Da Nang flight route.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Dinh La Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Transport, leaders of Departments and Agencies - Ministry of Transport; comrade Pham Viet Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Airlines Corporation. On the provincial leadership side, there were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Thai Van Hang, Huynh Thanh Dien; comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; leaders of a number of relevant departments and branches and representatives of the leaders of the provinces: Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa and Da Nang City.

The Vinh - Da Nang route with an initial frequency of 4 flights/week: Vinh - Da Nang and vice versa, will create favorable conditions to connect the two central centers for the provinces of the North Central region to develop their economy, society, and attract investment.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc thanked the Ministry of Transport and Vietnam Airlines for their attention in expanding flight routes from Vinh Airport to other localities and requested the Ministry of Transport and Vietnam Airlines to continue to pay attention to increasing flights on domestic routes when demand increases, and proposed upgrading the terminal, investing in additional runways, opening an international flight route Vinh - Vientiane (Laos) to meet travel needs, attract investment as well as develop the socio-economy of Nghe An as well as other provinces in the region.
