Opening of the water pavilion at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
After nearly 4 months of active construction, artisans from Chang Son and Sai Son villages (Hanoi) completed the water pavilion, a unique architectural work on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.
This is a unique folk architectural work, modeled after the water temple architecture of Thay Pagoda - the oldest remaining water temple architecture in Vietnam, built in the Later Le Dynasty, with two additional houses next to it where the artists stand to perform string puppet shows and a musician's house where the orchestra sits to perform.
