Launching the Website of the 132nd IPU General Assembly
On the morning of October 6, before the opening of the 32nd Session of the National Assembly Standing Committee - the first session at the new National Assembly Building after 5 years of construction, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, Head of the State Steering Committee for IPU-132, officially pressed the button to launch the website of the 132nd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly (IPU 132).
Attending and witnessing the opening ceremony were Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly and members of the Steering Committee.

With more than 1,300 delegates from 160 countries around the world, the 132nd IPU General Assembly held in March 2015 in Hanoi contained important messages about peace, democracy, progress and social justice.
This top diplomatic event also promises to be a great opportunity to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam as a peace-loving, friendly country to international friends; and introduce the image of the dynamic, innovative Vietnamese National Assembly.
In 3 languages: English, French and Vietnamese, the IPU-132 website was built by the IPU-132 Information and Propaganda Subcommittee at www.ipu132vietnam.vn to provide information about the activities of the IPU-132 General Assembly and create an online communication environment between the IPU-132 Organizing Committee and the Association of Parliamentary Secretaries General (ASGF) with member countries participating in IPU-132.
The website will provide working programs, agendas, conference documents as well as provide a photo and video library of IPU 132 activities and integrate digital maps, tourist destinations, hotels and restaurants for international friends.
