Launching the website "Communist Party of Vietnam - 12th Congress"

On the afternoon of September 14, the 12th Congress Press Center held the opening ceremony and put into operation the electronic news site "Communist Party of Vietnam - 12th Congress" at the address: daihoi12.dangcongsan.vn.

Comrade Le Hong Anh, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Organization Subcommittee serving the 12th Congress attended and gave a speech.

Also attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Pham Minh Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee; Bui Van Cuong, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc; Le Quang Vinh, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Office; Le Hoai Trung, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nguyen The Ky, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Director of the 12th Congress Press Center; leaders of departments, ministries, branches, leaders of the 12th Congress Press Center and leaders and reporters of press agencies.

This is the third consecutive congress (from the 10th Party Congress to the present), the official website for propaganda of the Party Congress uses the technical infrastructure and personnel of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper. The website "Communist Party of Vietnam - 12th Congress" is the official information page about the 12th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the internet.

The purpose of the News Page is to encourage and motivate the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army to promote the spirit of patriotism, the will of self-reliance, the strength of great national unity, and compete to successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2010-2015 term. To propagate, encourage and motivate good deeds, typical examples, the fighting spirit, and efforts of the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army, and the entire political system in competing to successfully implement the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress, strive to complete the targets of the 2015 socio-economic development plan, and make achievements to welcome the 12th National Party Congress.

To widely disseminate to cadres, party members and people the meaning and importance of the Congress and the major viewpoints, policies and orientations stated in the documents of party congresses at all levels and the 12th National Party Congress. Thereby, contributing to creating political, ideological and action unity within the Party, consensus in society to successfully organize the Congress and bring the resolutions of party congresses at all levels for the 2015-2020 term and the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress into life.

Organize seriously, closely, and scientifically the collection and posting of opinions from socio-political organizations, veteran cadres, scientists, artists, overseas Vietnamese, and people of all walks of life to contribute to the draft documents submitted to the 12th National Party Congress; promote the intelligence of cadres, party members, armed forces, especially the large number of readers of the 12th National Party Congress News Page. At the same time, do not let bad forces take advantage of the collection of opinions to spread incorrect and negative information and viewpoints that deny the Party Platform, Statutes, Constitution, and laws of the State.

Under the direction of the leaders of the 12th Congress Press Center, the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper continues to coordinate with related units such as Vietnam Television, Vietnam News Agency... to bring clean signal information and images to the News Page for domestic and foreign press agencies to exploit; coordinate with technical units of ministries and branches to ensure absolute security and safety for the operation of the "Communist Party of Vietnam - 12th Congress" Electronic Information Page.

The 12th Party Congress news page includes 11 sections: 1. News and events; 2. Party Congresses at all levels; 3. Comments on draft documents; 4. Documents - Documents: General Secretaries through the periods; Politburo, Secretariat, Central Executive Committee; Party Committees directly under the Central Committee; Congress documents; 5. The news site is available in 4 languages: Vietnamese, English, French and Chinese.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Subcommittee on Organization and Service of the 12th National Party Congress, comrade Le Hong Anh, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Subcommittee on Organization and Service of the 12th National Party Congress acknowledged and commended the Central Propaganda Department, the Press Center of the 12th National Party Congress, the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper and relevant agencies for actively and proactively building and putting into operation the website "Communist Party of Vietnam - 12th National Party Congress", ensuring the requirements on content, form, technology and information and propaganda capabilities.

Comrade Le Hong Anh assessed: Up to this point, we have basically completed the organization of the grassroots and upper-grassroots party congresses. From the second half of September 2015, the party congresses of provinces, cities, and centrally-run party congresses will be held. And in early 2016, the 12th National Party Congress will solemnly open. Our entire Party, people, and army are making every effort to successfully implement the goals and tasks identified in the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress; identifying the directions, goals, and tasks for the 5-year period of 2016 - 2020.

In order for the Press Center of the 12th National Party Congress and the News Website “Communist Party of Vietnam - 12th National Congress” to operate well and achieve the highest efficiency, Comrade Le Hong Anh directed that the system of press agencies, including the News Website “Communist Party of Vietnam - 12th National Congress”, should focus on encouraging and motivating the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army to promote the spirit of patriotism, the will of self-reliance, the strength of great national unity, and compete to successfully implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2010 - 2015 term.
