Bao Tin Minh Chau Company is listing the price of Rong Thang Long gold at 43.90-44.15 million VND/tael. Compared to SJC gold, this brand is 1 million VND/tael lower.
In the world, spot gold price on Kitco is trading around 1,616 USD/ounce, down nearly 20 USD compared to the previous session's close.
At this price, after converting according to Vietcombank's exchange rate of 20,880 VND/USD, the world gold price is still 4.4 million VND/tael lower than the domestic SJC brand.
In the domestic foreign exchange market, the average interbank exchange rate applied on February 18 was 20,828 VND/USD, unchanged since the beginning of the year. The ceiling exchange rate applied to commercial banks remained at 21,036 VND/USD.
This morning, the USD selling price of major commercial banks remained unchanged compared to the previous session. Specifically, Vietcombank bought at 20,800 VND/USD and sold at 20,880 VND/USD.
