Free medical examination, medicine distribution and Tet gifts for poor households

(Baonghean.vn)-Implementing the policy of assigning help to especially disadvantaged mountainous communes, on January 29-30, Nghe An Health Department organized free medical examinations and medicine distribution for people in 4 villages: Cha Lum, Na Cang, Huoi Pai, Pa Khom in Yen Tinh commune, Tuong Duong district.

Medical examination and treatment for people

During this period, the working group of health sector officials examined 374 people including the elderly, children and women of reproductive age. Through the examination, doctors discovered cases of diseases that needed treatment at higher levels such as eye diseases, ovarian cysts, etc. The total cost for this voluntary examination was over 30 million VND with 26 medicines distributed free of charge to the people.

Health sector leaders give Tet gifts to poor households

On this occasion, the Nghe An Health Sector Trade Union went to Yen Tinh Commune - Tuong Duong to give 20 Tet gifts to households including: rice, cooking oil, MSG; 20 bicycles for children from poor households who overcome difficulties to study well; 10 cows for 10 households with a total cost of 187 million VND.
