Examination and free medicine for more than 400 policy beneficiaries
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 13, in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Phuoc Dien Charity Association (Ben Tre province) coordinated with Gia Dinh People's Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) and Nghe An Oncology Hospital to organize medical examination and provide free medicine to more than 400 beneficiaries of policy families, poor households and near-poor households in 3 communes of Kim Lien, Hung Tien and Xuan Lam.
The people were examined and advised by the medical team on how to prevent diseases, especially internal diseases such as: blood pressure, cardiovascular, bone and joint, stomach, skin diseases, eye diseases, abdominal ultrasound... Through examination, a number of cardiovascular and eye diseases were discovered... and the medical team and doctors guided the people to go to a higher level for timely treatment.

After the examination, each patient was given free medicine and a gift worth 165,000 VND/person. The total cost of this free examination and medicine was nearly 70 million VND, taken from sponsors.
Previously, on the afternoon of June 12, the delegation organized medical examination and provided free medicine for 375 policy beneficiaries in Yen Son commune, Do Luong district.
This is a meaningful activity to help people improve their knowledge of disease prevention, and at the same time contribute to reducing difficulties related to diseases so they can stabilize their lives.
