Urgent handling of Nguoc mountain landslide on National Highway 46B in Nghe An

Faced with the serious landslide situation on Nguoc Mountain on National Highway 46B through Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An Province, the Vietnam Road Administration is urgently implementing a large-scale landslide treatment project to ensure people's safety.

van truong 4 — Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - Deputy Director of Road Management Area II said: According to the project, all landslides and rockfalls of Nguoc Mountain will be thoroughly treated, then create 8-12 m high shocks, with 5-6 shocks depending on the height of Nguoc Mountain. In particular, National Highway 46 B passing through Nguoc Mountain has 3 curves, now being treated to create 2 curves, widening the roadway at the foot of the mountain for safe traffic.
