Affirming the role and advantages of oral propaganda work

Faced with that reality, many opinions have shared experiences and solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda in the coming time. First of all, Party committees at all levels need to pay attention to leading and promptly orienting propaganda work, especially sensitive, complicated and new issues.

On the other hand, the entire political system is required to do ideological work; each cadre and party member is a propagandist doing oral propaganda work, in which reporters are the core force.

To become the core force in oral propaganda work, some opinions raised at the discussion said that Party committees at all levels need to pay attention to selecting a team of reporters with skills and methods of "speaking" that are comprehensive, including analysis, synthesis, inference, commentary, and proof to create appeal and appeal to listeners.

To improve the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work, Party committees, Propaganda Departments at all levels and reporting teams need to closely follow the political tasks of the industry and locality to proactively develop plans, determine topics, information dosage, and timely, focused and key information methods.

Speaking at the seminar, affirming that the attention and leadership of Party committees at all levels is an important factor determining the success of oral propaganda work, comrade Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested that the Propaganda Departments at all levels proactively advise Party committees to pay close attention to oral propaganda work; associated with building a team of quality reporters and propagandists at all levels, at the same time researching appropriate mechanisms and policies as well as equipping equipment for the team of reporters.

The Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department also noted that Propaganda Departments at all levels need to proactively engage in propaganda and timely orient public opinion on sensitive issues and "hot" issues that are of interest to the public, creating positive effects and efficiency of information from official channels.

The Central Propaganda Department also accepted suggestions from sectors and localities to continue improving oral propaganda work in the coming time.
