Affirming the position of women in the marketplace

(Baonghean.vn) – On the evening of June 10, at the Provincial Labor Culture House, a forum was held on “Enhancing the competitiveness in economic development of ethnic women in the Northwest region”.

The forum was attended by 192 typical women from 14 provinces in the Northwest region and two neighboring provinces of Ha Tinh and Quang Ninh.

The forum is one of the activities of the conference to honor ethnic women who are good at doing business in the Northwest region, which will take place on the morning of June 11.

Two typical women who are good at business, Ms. Phu Thi Thien (Ha Giang province) and Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep (Ha Tinh province) shared their difficulties and experiences in production and business.

At the forum, typical examples of women who are good at economics shared and discussed the advantages and difficulties in the process of economic development. To be successful, women must face and overcome many barriers in terms of psychology, public opinion, limited time, family pressure, etc. The stories shared at the forum are evidence affirming the indispensable role and position of women in the business world.

Through the forum, women have the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences, thereby replicating advanced models in the fields of production and business, opening up opportunities for women of ethnic groups in the Northwest to connect with businesses and expand the market.
