Inauguration and handover of Giai Xuan Commune Medical Station - Tan Ky
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 6, the Party Committee, government, Giai Xuan commune, together with the Organizing Committee of the program "Truong Son affection" - Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper - Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Import and Export (EximBank) and the construction unit organized the ribbon cutting ceremony and handover of the Examination and Treatment House of Giai Xuan Commune Health Station, Tan Ky District.

Located in the northwest of Tan Ky district, Giai Xuan is a particularly difficult commune with a large area, uneven population distribution, and a lack of infrastructure for the commune's medical station.
The medical station has only 5 rooms (including 2 patient rooms and 3 functional rooms) and was built in 1977. Over the past 38 years, it has seriously degraded, significantly affecting the health care of people in the commune.
With the attention of the Organizing Committee of the "Truong Son Love" Program, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper mobilized the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Import-Export (EximBank) to sponsor nearly 1 billion VND.
The examination and treatment building has a construction area of 140.4m2, with 5 rooms, and was started on May 25, 2014 with a total investment of 979,885,000 VND, fully sponsored by Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (EximBank).
After nearly 10 months of construction, the project has now been completed and put into use. The completion of the project contributes to strengthening the physical facilities at the station, which is a premise for doing well the primary health care work for people at the commune level, contributing to the completion of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction of the commune.
On this occasion, the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center donated 2 beds and personal cabinets to the commune health station.
