Inauguration of the slaughterhouse in Nghi Phu commune (Vinh city)
Implementing the project to manage livestock and poultry slaughtering activities in the area, after a period of upgrading and renovation, on the morning of February 6, Vinh City People's Committee and Nghi Phu Commune People's Committee coordinated with the contractor to organize the inauguration of the centralized livestock slaughterhouse project in Hamlet 5.
(Baonghean.vn) -Implementing the project to manage livestock and poultry slaughtering activities in the area, after a period of upgrading and renovation, on the morning of February 6, Vinh City People's Committee and Nghi Phu Commune People's Committee coordinated with the contractor to organize the inauguration of the centralized livestock slaughterhouse project in Hamlet 5.
The project includes main items: Boiler with capacity of 200 - 250 pigs per day/night, wastewater drainage system and other items serving slaughtering activities to ensure safety and hygiene regulations. The total estimated cost of upgrading and repairing is 1.2 billion VND. Of which, the City supports 300 million, the rest is capital invested by private enterprise Truong Lan to manage and exploit. In the immediate future, the City is allowing enterprises to attract households to bring livestock to centralized slaughter, then will calculate the revenue that enterprises pay to the State budget.
The centralized slaughterhouse in Nghi Phu commune, put into operation, will contribute to strengthening food hygiene and safety management, ensuring environmental sanitation, and gradually overcoming environmental pollution caused by households slaughtering livestock at home for a long time.
