Inauguration of boarding house for foster parents in Ky Son

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 27, in Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, the General Department of Force Building (Ministry of Public Security), the Provincial Youth Union, the Nghe An Border Guard Command coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to organize the inauguration ceremony of the boarding house for students of Nam Can Boarding Secondary School, Muong Ai commune.

This is a meaningful project to help students in remote villages far from the commune center who have to stay and study in makeshift thatched houses to have a stable place to eat and live and study with peace of mind. The funding source of 100 million VND for the construction of the project was mobilized by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union from the General Department of Force Building (Ministry of Public Security), with the support of working days from officers and soldiers of Border Guard Station 547, local people and teachers and students of Nam Can School. After 5 months of construction, the project was completed, including a row of 8-room houses with wooden walls and a solid, sturdy cement floor, with a total area of ​​285 m2, ensuring accommodation for 120 boarding students.
