Inauguration of Saigon - Song Lam Beer Factory
On the morning of March 10, 2011, in Nam Giang commune (Nam Dan), Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation held the inauguration ceremony of Saigon-Song Lam beer factory, with a capacity of 100 million liters per year.
Attending the event were comrades: Tran Van Hang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Nam Hai - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade; Ho Duc Phoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Sabeco Corporation, leaders of Sabeco's member companies, sectors and leaders of neighboring districts and cities.

This is a key project of Sabeco Corporation, the total investment in phase 1 is 1045 billion VND, modern production line from the Federal Republic of Germany. After exactly one year of construction, the factory has produced products. After 5 months of production, it has reached an output of 13 million liters of 333 beer and 355 bottled beer, contributing about 80 billion VND to the provincial budget. It is expected that in 2011, the factory's output will reach full capacity and contribute over 400 billion VND to the budget.
Speaking at the ceremony, leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and leaders of Nghe An province acknowledged the efforts of the investor who worked creatively and invested in building a modern factory in Nghe An, which is of great significance to economic growth and poverty reduction, and at the same time hoped that the investor would continue to implement the progress of phase 2 of the project.
