(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 9, Royal Foods Company held the inauguration ceremony of Royal Foods Factory and Cold Storage in Area B, Nam Cam Industrial Park, Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone.
Attending the ceremony were Ms. Paminon - Consulate General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City. On the provincial leadership side, there were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ho Ngoc Sy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. In 2013, Royal Foods Company - a leading canned food manufacturing company in Thailand, invested in Nghe An, after the first factory was successfully invested in 2007 in Tien Giang province with the product of canned fish in tomato sauce under the brand name "Three girls".

After 1 year of construction, with a total investment of more than 27 million USD, equivalent to nearly 600 billion VND, the Company has built the Royal Foods factory and Frescol Cold Storage in Nam Cam Industrial Park. This is the second factory producing "Three Girls" products in Vietnam and the fourth factory in the entire ASEAN region of the company.

Royal Foods' canned fish factory in Nghe An has an area of over 140 thousand m2and can produce 60 to 100 thousand cases of canned fish per month. Frescol cold storage with a capacity of 13 thousandtonis the first largest cold storage in the North and Central regions.andl will start phase 1 with a capacity of 12,000 tons, freezing 100 - 150 tons/day.
Frescol not only purchases fresh fish for storage as raw materials for the company's two canned fish factories in Nghe An and Tien Giang, but also provides storage services for businesses that need to process and export food to foreign markets.
In addition, Frescol also provides freezing services for all customers who need to freeze and store goods. In addition, Royal Foods Factoryhas also been granted investment certificates for all projects including the empty can factory, food manufacturing and processing factory, fishmeal factory and the largest rest stop project with gas station, shopping mall and restaurant in the North and Central regions of Vietnam. When put into operation, this canned fish factory and cold storage will create jobs for nearly 600 workers.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Duc Phoc thanked Royal Foods Company for choosing Nghe An - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh as an investment destination, contributing to promoting the economic development of the province. He emphasized that during the time the Company implemented the project, the province implemented many incentive mechanisms for the company according to the incentive categories for enterprises in the Southeast Economic Zone.
With the success in Thailand as well as in Tien Giang province, he wished that the Company's factories would continue to develop strongly in Nghe An.
