(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 5, 2013, at the Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the inauguration ceremony of the exhibition room "The life and career of President Kaysone Phomvihane and the friendship between Vietnam and Laos". Attending the ceremony were comrades: Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Before the ceremony, delegates offered incense at the Memorial House of Martyrs 30-31 and the Nghe Tinh Soviet Monument in the grounds of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum.

The exhibition room has a floor area of 54m2, an exhibition area of 64.5m2, consisting of a celebration section and 2 themes: The life and revolutionary career of President Kaysone Phomvihane; Vietnam - Laos friendship. The exhibits include 150 documentary photos, 30 artifacts, 45 documents, 2 maps, 1 painting, 1 bust and 1 model of the relic house of President Kaysone Phomvihane's family in Savannakhet.

This is an important cultural project to preserve and introduce the most basic features of the life and glorious revolutionary career of President Kaysone Phomvihane, the solidarity, friendship and special cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, and the special friendship and cooperation between Nghe An province and other provinces of Laos.

In particular, from here in Nghe An - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, there is an additional attractive cultural address serving domestic and foreign visitors and tourists. In his speech at the inauguration ceremony, comrade Le Xuan Dai emphasized: The construction of an exhibition room introducing the life and revolutionary career of President Kaysone Phomvihane and the friendship between Vietnam and Laos has a very profound meaning. This is a vivid expression of the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in general, between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces in particular.
