Director of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital Phan Van Tu reported on the implementation of prices for medical examination and treatment services at the hospital. |
In addition, the regulation of prices for medical examination and treatment services is unreasonable. Nearly 90% of the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital is covered by health insurance for children under 6 years old and the poor, so the regulation of prices for some types of services is currently lower than the actual price, causing difficulties for the hospital and creating pressure for the people. In addition, the current regulation of prices for medical examination and treatment services is applied to both adults and children, while performing many types of clinical and paraclinical examinations and treatments for children requires larger consumables than adults, which is unreasonable.
