Survey and planning of Thanh Thuy International Border Gate

Recently, comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting to deploy the survey and planning plan for Thanh Thuy International Border Gate, Thanh Chuong District. Attending were leaders of relevant departments, agencies and Thanh Chuong District.

Thanh Thuy-Nam On border gate connecting National Highway 46 on the way to Uncle Ho's hometown and the Ho Chi Minh trail with Xay Cham Phon district - Lao PDR, has been approved by the Government to be built as a secondary border gate.

At the meeting, relevant departments and branches frankly discussed issues and anticipated situations arising during the survey, planning, and design and construction of international border gate projects.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Thai Van Hang emphasized the need to plan according to the scale of an international border gate, but first of all, it is necessary to build and plan a main border gate of national scale.

The Vice Chairman requested that the planning and construction implementation must fully function the international border gate, meet practical requirements, and comply with border rules and regulations on the basis of unifying views with Laos, especially at connection points. The construction of items must be reasonable and scientific to ensure environmental landscape. He requested that relevant units should soon have a plan to build items under their management, promptly change the purpose of land use, clear the site, and do a good job of propaganda to establish construction planning.
