Survey of the Western Nghe An region and the Plain of Jars - Laos
(Baonghean.vn) - From November 27-30, 2014, the Famtrip delegation led by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An; Thai Son International Travel Joint Stock Company - TST Travel in coordination with the Hanoi Unesco Travel Club conducted a survey of tourist routes and destinations in the Western region of Nghe An and international routes through Xieng Khouang - Laos.
On November 27, 2014, the Delegation visited tourist destinations in Nghe An and had a meeting with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An, the Nghe An Tourism Promotion Information Center, and the Nghe An Tourism Association.

The Famtrip delegation has 65 delegates, including leaders and staff of more than 50 international travel agencies from the provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Can Tho and press reporters and media units. During 4 days from November 27 to 30, 2014, the Famtrip delegation had a working session with the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Tourism Association and leaders of tourism and hotel enterprises in Nghe An and Xieng Khouang province - Laos. The delegation also conducted surveys at tourist destinations such as Pu Mat National Park, Sang Le Forest, Plain of Jars, and the ancient capital of Muong Khuan - Xieng Khouang. Through the actual survey of the above locations, the Famtrip delegation will link to form tours and tourist routes associated with Nghe An province, connecting the Upper Laos region, opening a new product for domestic and international tourists.

Through this Famtrip, Nghe An tourism has had the opportunity to introduce and promote its potential and strengths more deeply. In particular, through businesses and media agencies, the province's programs, tours, and tourism routes, especially the Nghe An Vi Giam Folk Song Heritage - a Heritage recently recognized by UNESCO, as well as the Western Nghe An Biosphere Reserve will be introduced and promoted more widely to international friends, while having more opportunities for development cooperation, especially cooperation with countries in the Mekong sub-region.
