On November 20, 2014, the Ethnic Committee worked with the leaders of Thanh Chuong district and the two communes of Ngoc Lam and Thanh Son. Through the work, it was found that: after the announcement No. 22/TB-HĐND dated July 28, 2014 concluding the questioning session at the 11th session of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, the leaders of Thanh Chuong district directed the two communes of Ngoc Lam and Thanh Son to review the personnel files to implement the policies in Decision 1826 of the Provincial People's Committee; up to this point, a file has been prepared to submit to the province for support of 822,671,000 VND for salary and allowances for cadres and part-time cadres working according to the term. Support of 616,908,000 VND for 12 commune cadres to quit their jobs and pay voluntary insurance according to the regime.
Thus, the settlement of policies for officials and civil servants in the reservoir area for resettlement has basically been resolved, the money has been returned to the district, the district will complete the procedures for allocation to the commune. Regarding the settlement of production land for resettled people, up to now, nearly 1,000 hectares of Gia Bao forest have been recovered to hand over to the people, the remaining 700 hectares are difficult to recover because of compensation for site clearance. Up to now, the people have been mobilized to plant 121 hectares of industrial tea. Through the survey, a number of issues have emerged that need attention and resolution, especially continuing to repair damaged houses, lack of production land, lack of domestic water, 8 degraded classrooms that cannot accommodate students, the headquarters of the agencies in 2 communes do not have enough working rooms, building internal roads for people to facilitate production, supporting people to reclaim flooded fields./.
