Rewarding 3 individuals at Hoai Duc District General Hospital

On the morning of August 16, at Hoai Duc District General Hospital, the Hanoi Department of Health awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 individuals who denounced violations in the hospital's operations.

The people who were awarded include: Ms. Hoang Thi Nguyet, an official of the Laboratory Department; Ms. Phan Thi Nam Dong, an official of the Interdisciplinary Department; Ms. Khuat Thi Dinh, an official of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department. These are the three people who wrote a petition denouncing violations at Hoai Duc District General Hospital from July 2012 to May 2013.

Three individuals were recognized and rewarded

Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health Nguyen Van Yen said that the decision to reward 3 individuals of Hoai Duc District General Hospital is to reward actions against wrongdoings. The Hanoi Department of Health highly welcomes actions like this, thereby, to promptly commend and encourage positive factors in preventing and combating corruption, violations of the law and medical ethics of doctors.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Yen, through the incident at Hoai Duc District General Hospital, each officer and employee needs to review themselves and unite to overcome difficulties. Any wrongdoings will be strictly handled before the law. This is a lesson for all those who commit dishonest acts and law violations, not only at Hoai Duc District General Hospital but also in the entire health sector.

Currently, the departments of Hoai Duc District General Hospital are operating normally, except for the Laboratory Department, which needs to supplement and strengthen its competent staff. Therefore, the Hanoi Department of Health has increased the number of specialized staff from Xanh Pon, Dong Da and Ha Dong General Hospitals to work at this department.
