In 2016, Ha Huy Tap Ward Police fought fiercely against all types of crime. Especially drug crimes, arresting 20 cases, 24 subjects, including 4 special projects, seizing 760 grams of heroin, 1.1 kg of crystal meth, 1 car, 15 motorbikes, 3 small scales. Typically, two special projects 126T and 246H were broken by Ha Huy Tap Ward Police, established and coordinated with the professional departments of the Provincial Police to organize the fight.

Previously, on December 19, Ha Huy Tap Ward Police presided over the destruction of a special case coded 126T, catching Nguyen Tri Kieu, residing in Vo Liet Commune, Thanh Chuong District, red-handed while transporting drugs on a local inter-village road, seizing on Kieu a 330-gram heroin cake, 100 USD and 5 million VND in cash; Searching the house, confiscated 1 car, 1 hunting gun and 5 million VND in cash.
