Rewarding fishermen in Hoang Sa and Truong Sa seas

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has just signed a decision to reward 29 collectives and 50 individuals who are fishermen.

Of the 29 fishing boat collectives that were awarded, 4 were from Duc Pho district, 8 were from Ly Son, 4 were from Son Tinh and 13 were from Binh Son. Of the 50 individuals, most were fishermen from coastal and island localities of Quang Ngai province.

The collectives and individuals who were awarded had outstanding achievements in marine economy, regularly staying at sea in Hoang Sa and Truong Sa fishing grounds; actively participating in rescue operations at sea, contributing to affirming the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the period 2008-2012.
