When the Party cell directly helps poor households

(Baonghean) -The Party Committee of the Party and mass organizations of Con Cuong district has 12 Party cells with 60 Party members operating in two agencies: the District Party Committee (6 Party cells), the Fatherland Front and mass organizations (6 Party cells). Implementing Directive 03-CT/T.Ư to continue promoting "studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh", each cadre, Party member, and Party cell registers the content of "following" with specific and practical actions. The Party Committee launched a campaign for each Party cell to receive support from a Party cell under the Party Committee of the rural area.

With experience and specific work, dedicated to the grassroots, in the past two years, 12 supported Party cells have made remarkable progress, some Party cells have risen from weak to strong and clean, many Party cells have risen from average or good to strong and clean, and exemplary strong and clean. In addition to professional assistance and guidance on leadership and direction, the Party cells of district agencies also help grassroots Party cells with material resources.

Typically, the Party Cell of the District Political Training Center helped the Party Cell of Tan Huong village, Yen Khe commune with a ceremony set worth more than 10 million VND. The Party Cells of the Propaganda Department, Organization Department, Inspection Committee, Mass Mobilization Department, Women's Union, Farmers' Association, District Youth Union, Veterans' Association, Trade Union, etc. mobilized Party members to save on personal expenses to buy notebooks, books, and stationery to give to the sister Party Cells. To help ethnic minorities escape poverty, the Party Committee launched a campaign for each cadre and Party member to save and donate 30,000 VND per month.

In 2012, the Party Committee helped 2 poor households in Thach Ngan commune with 9 million VND to build barns, buy piglets to develop livestock farming, and gradually escape poverty. In 2013, the Party Committee helped Mr. Luong Vinh Lam in Tong To village Party Cell who had difficulty with housing, build a new spacious house. On the day of starting construction of Mr. Lam's house, cadres and Party members directly participated in digging the foundation, building walls, transporting bricks, tiles, roofing...

All the villagers of Tong To village admired the "cadres'" heart. After more than 1 month of construction, on August 27, 2013, the Party Committee directly came to present the donation of 40 million VND and put up the sign "House of Gratitude" for Mr. Luong Vinh Lam's family. Touched by the comradely affection of the cadres, party members of the Party agencies and unions of Con Cuong district, Mr. Lam emotionally said: "Thank you for the noble gesture of the cadres, party members of the Party agencies and unions of the district who helped my wife and I have a spacious and clean house.

I am extremely grateful for the kindness of you guys who have shared your food and clothes to help grassroots party members overcome difficulties so that they can feel secure and excited to do business and build a new life. I promise to continue to strive to do better work, build a stronger family and hometown, and fulfill my duties as a party member well, so as not to disappoint the kindness and care of the Party Committee."
