On this festival, voters hold ballots in their hands to choose outstanding representatives to represent their will and aspirations to participate in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

We went to Luong Minh commune, one of the communes with 5 villages holding early elections in the most difficult area of the commune, mainly inhabited by the Khmu and Thai ethnic groups, with difficult transportation, dangerous mountain and forest roads, and no national electricity grid.
People here are eagerly waiting and expecting that the National Assembly and People's Council delegates at all levels they have chosen will represent their will and aspirations to help them overcome difficulties in economic and social development.

Mr. Lo Quoc Viet, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Luong Minh Commune, said: "Our commune has many ethnic minorities living there, and there are still many limitations in reception, so the commune has proactively propagated orally, using the ethnic language, to each family so that everyone can understand about the election work."
Meanwhile, in Tam Hop commune, one of the border communes of Tuong Duong district, a comprehensive early election was held, with the inter-village roads lined with national flags. This season, people are in the season of slash-and-burn farming, but after hours in the fields, people take the time to look at the list and brief biographies of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels posted at community cultural houses.
After many propaganda campaigns in various forms, 100% of the Thai, Mong, and Tay Poong ethnic minorities in Tam Hop firmly grasped their rights and obligations as citizens when holding their ballots in their hands.

In just over a day, voters of 6 communes in Tuong Duong district will be elected earlier than other localities. After a period of research and selection, they now officially hold the ballot in their hands to elect people with enough virtue and talent to represent their will and aspirations to competent agencies and departments in various fields.
Ms. Lo Thi Huong, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council of Tuong Duong district affirmed: "Up to this point, Tuong Duong has completed preparations for 42 locations in 6 communes. The spirit of voters is very excited and the preparation of all facilities has been completed, ready for people to vote early according to the law"./.
