State Treasury deploys specialized inspection work

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 14, in Vinh City, the State Treasury held a conference to deploy specialized inspection work in the Northern region. Attending were Mr. Tran Quoc Vinh, Deputy General Director of the State Treasury of Vietnam; leaders and officers working in inspection and examination of 31 State Treasury units in provinces and cities. Comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province attended and delivered a congratulatory speech at the Conference.

Overview of the conference

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mr. Tran Quoc Vinh, Deputy General Director of the State Treasury, emphasized: to carry out the task of developing the State Treasury by 2020, aiming at the goal of safety and efficiency, the role of inspection work in financial and budget management requirements is very important. This Conference will focus on disseminating the Decision of the Minister of Finance on promulgating regulations on specialized inspection activities of the State Treasury; the Decision of the General Director of the State Treasury on promulgating specialized inspection procedures, and the contents of implementing specialized inspection tasks of the State Treasury. In addition, new points of the Law on Complaints and Denunciations; Administrative sanctions in the State Treasury sector; and Anti-corruption work will also be disseminated at this Conference.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Thai Van Hang expressed his joy when Nghe An was chosen by the State Treasury to organize this Conference. He also acknowledged: the activities of controlling expenditures, budget payments, inspections and audits of the treasury have created discipline and order for budget-using units in the area; actively advised Nghe An province to use state budget capital economically, in accordance with policies and state regimes. The Conference created conditions for the treasury sector to perform well its state management function, while helping Nghe An manage budget finances well, contributing to socio-economic development.

During the three days from October 14 to 16, the Conference will continue to train on the following topics: State budget collection management through the State Treasury; Electronic bilateral payment operations focusing on and expanding interbank payments and the topic of controlling state budget expenditure commitments through the State Treasury, etc.
