Billion-dollar bedding warehouse burned down

The fire broke out at 10:45 a.m. on October 18 at Pham Van Tho Bedding, Pillow and Mattress Company Limited in Hamlet 10, Dien Hoang Commune, Dien Chau District.

At that time, people discovered a fire and a high column of smoke rising from the warehouse of the bedding store owned by Pham Van Tho, so they shouted. At the same time, Mr. Tho drove his car back to the gate, quickly used a spray bottle and fire prevention and fighting equipment to put out the fire and called the Fire Police Team No. 4 stationed in Hoang Mai town for help.

However, because the fire occurred dozens of kilometers from National Highway 1A and the weather was dry, the fire quickly caught on flammable materials, burning down 3 houses along with thousands of sets of blankets, sheets, pillows, mattresses, curtains... causing an estimated loss of billions of dong.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by authorities.
