Warehouse KX5 (Technical Department of Military Region 4): Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the unit's tradition

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 22, KX5 Warehouse (Technical Department of Military Region 4) solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the unit's tradition (September 22, 1965 - September 22, 2015).

Attending the ceremony were Major General Tran Huu Tuat, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; leaders and commanders of agencies of Military Region 4; Party Committee and government of Nam Dan district and generations of officers and soldiers of KX5 Warehouse through the periods.

KX5 Warehouse (Technical Department) was formerly the Motorcycle Supplies Department of K42 Warehouse (Military Region Logistics Department) and was separated and established on September 22, 1965 in Thanh Duong commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province.

The Prime Minister of the Military Region Command, the commander of the Technical Department and the commander of KX5 Warehouse through the periods took souvenir photos at the Commemoration Ceremony.

Over 50 years of construction, fighting and growing up, generations of officers, employees and soldiers of KX5 Warehouse have always been united, overcome difficulties, and excellently completed the tasks of receiving, preserving, maintaining, repairing, and distributing materials and technical equipment to serve the combat missions and activities of the Military Region's Armed Forces. In particular, in recent years, officers and employees of KX5 Warehouse have thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented the motto "Technology, regularity, safety, quality, efficiency" in quality technical expertise, building a unit that ensures absolute safety in all aspects; officers and employees of KX5 Warehouse always have close and effective relationships with units and local Party committees and authorities where they are stationed. Every year, KX5 Warehouse receives, distributes, arranges, collects and consolidates over 1,000 tons of quality spare parts and technical equipment; warehouse system, absolute security unit.

With its achievements and results, KX5 Warehouse has been recognized and rewarded by the Party, the State, and the Ministry of National Defense. In particular, from 2005 to present, the Warehouse has been awarded 2 Certificates of Merit by the Government and the Minister of National Defense; the Military Region Command has awarded the title of Victory Unit for 10 years (2004 - 2014); for 15 consecutive years, the Warehouse Party Committee has been recognized as a strong Party Committee, and every year the mass organizations have achieved the title of excellent and strong.
