At the ceremony, generations of students of the Faculty of Literature Pedagogy had the opportunity to reunite and review together the 55-year development journey of the Faculty with proud achievements. The Faculty of Literature Pedagogy (formerly the Faculty of Literature) is one of the first two faculties of Vinh University. Since its establishment, the faculty has gone through many stages of development. During the resistance war, overcoming bombs and bullets, overcoming difficult and arduous living conditions, the Faculty of Literature not only ensured but also always improved the quality of training. Creative ideas still flourished, scientific conferences and seminars were still held regularly, causing widespread resonance in universities throughout the North. The country was unified, many cadres and hundreds of newly graduated students of the Faculty of Literature enthusiastically went to the South to work, strengthening the force of education and training staff at that time.

During the renovation period, together with the School, the Faculty of Literature has gradually innovated to achieve important achievements. In addition to undergraduate training, the Faculty is also responsible for postgraduate training. According to the School's policy of multi-system and multi-disciplinary development, in 1996, the Faculty cooperated with the Faculty of Literature and the Faculty of Journalism of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to open undergraduate classes in Journalism and Literature, then opened additional undergraduate classes in Languages... Currently, the Faculty of Literature Pedagogy has 29 staff, with 5 Associate Professors, Doctors, 9 Doctors, 14 Masters and 1 Technician, undertaking a large amount of work, from training to scientific research. Generations of staff and lecturers of the Faculty have truly affirmed themselves in terms of science and training. The Faculty has also successfully organized dozens of scientific conferences at the School, regional and national levels, published many collective works, many conference proceedings, collections of scientific research works...
Over 55 years of development, the Faculty of Literature Pedagogy has contributed to training many generations of students in pedagogical systems, bachelors of science (both full-time and part-time), including 1,249 masters and 21 doctors. Many students and trainees of the faculty have been and are prestigious teachers, managers, researchers, journalists... working all over the country. These outstanding achievements of the Faculty of Literature Pedagogy have been recognized by noble awards from the Party and the State such as: Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, Third-class Labor Medal, Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training, Certificate of Merit from the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations... Many staff in the faculty have also received the Third-class Labor Medal, certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Education and Training and especially the title of Excellent Teacher.

The ceremony was an opportunity for generations of students of the faculty through the periods to exchange and share memorable memories of a vibrant student life; as well as stories and experiences to succeed in their career path from the cradle of training - Faculty of Literature Pedagogy. On this occasion, Faculty of Literature Pedagogy also organized an award ceremony for 7 students with excellent academic achievements and 37 excellent students in the 2013-2014 school year.
