(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 19, at Dong Hoi Industrial Park - Hoang Mai Town, Nghe An province coordinated with Hoa Sen Group to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the second Hoa Sen factory of Hoa Sen Group in Nghe An.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony on the guest side were Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, leaders of some departments, institutes and leaders of Quang Ngai province. On the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of departments, branches and leaders of Hoang Mai Town. Attending the ceremony were also leaders of Hoa Sen Group, leaders of some groups that are close customers of Hoa Sen Group.

After a short time of surveying and researching the location, Hoa Sen Group decided to invest in a project in Dong Hoi - Hoang Mai Industrial Park in the Southeast Economic Zone. Hoa Sen Nghe An Factory in Dong Hoi Industrial Park, Quynh Lap Commune, Hoang Mai is a new project, invested and built by Hoa Sen Nghe An One Member Co., Ltd. on an area of ​​35 hectares. The factory has many advantages because it is located in a key economic zone, 5 km from Nghi Son - Thanh Hoa deep-water port, 1 km from Hoang Mai station, 5 km from National Highway 1A and the North-South railway. Therefore, it is very convenient for transporting goods and developing the market.

The factory has invested in a cold rolling line with a total designed capacity of 1 million tons/year, 2 color coated steel production lines with a total designed capacity of 500,000 tons/year, 1 color coated steel production line with a designed capacity of 120,000 tons/year; 1 acid regeneration line, 1 rust removal line, 2 CNC steel roller grinding machines with a capacity of 24 rollers/day. The total estimated investment for the factory is 5,000 billion VND, the factory is expected to produce its first product in March 2006.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade also highly appreciated the potential of Hoa Sen Group. According to him, in the current context of integration, units like Hoa Sen Group will contribute to better integration of Vietnam with the world. The fact that Hoa Sen Group invested in the second factory is proof that the investment environment in Nghe An is becoming more and more attractive.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, thanked and highly appreciated the determination of the investor, who trusted and invested in effective projects contributing to enriching Nghe An, opening up new prospects for other investors and contributing to the good implementation of Resolution 26 of the Politburo on Nghe An. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the leaders of the Departments, branches, sectors and Hoang Mai Town to create the best conditions for the factory to soon come into operation.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, the Provincial Party Secretary granted the investment license to Hoa Sen Group's Hoa Sen factory in Hoang Mai. The factory will promote the development of Hoang Mai urban area in general and Dong Hoi industrial park in particular, creating a driving force for the development of the Nam Thanh - Bac Nghe economic zone.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Hoa Sen Group donated 50 bicycles to poor students in Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town. The Group also donated 222 million VND to 53 poor households, policy households, meritorious households and 169 leprosy patients being treated at Quynh Lap Central Dermatology Leprosy Hospital.

Hoa Sen Nghe An Steel Sheet Factory, the investor is Hoa Sen Steel Sheet Group, located in Area C, Nam Cam Industrial Park, Southeast Economic Zone. The factory has a land area of ​​122,916 m2, with an estimated capital of 200 billion VND, including 12 steel pipe production lines with a total designed capacity of 100,000 tons/year; 1 conveyor line with a designed capacity of 100,000 tons/year. The factory has now completed phase 1 with 6 steel pipe lines in operation. After the inauguration, the factory will continue to invest in completing the production line system and will be completed in December 2015.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised the determination and investment progress of Hoa Sen Group, which in a short time brought Nghe An a large-scale factory, which is very important for the socio-economic development of Nghe An province, and at the same time created a bridge for other investors to come to Nghe An. With the drastic direction and active removal of difficulties for investors, the project quickly came into operation.
