Construction of Military Region 4 Museum, Phase 1 begins
On the morning of February 7, the Military Region 4 Command solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Military Region 4 Museum.
Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh, Commander of the Military Region; Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region, and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Command of the Military Region.

The Military Zone 4 Museum was established on December 22, 1966, with the mission of preserving and promoting the historical, cultural and military artistic heritage of the North Central region. After nearly 60 years of construction, growth and development, the Military Zone 4 Museum has collected, preserved and displayed more than 20,000 artifacts, images and historical documents and annually welcomes more than 80,000 visitors to visit, learn and study.
Towards the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the Armed Forces of Military Region 4 (October 15, 1945 - October 15, 2025), in accordance with the wishes of officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Military Region 4; the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense agreed to invest in the construction of the Military Region 4 Museum, phase 1, with a total cost of 90 billion VND.
Built on an area of 4,200m2, with the following items: Exhibition house; Outdoor technical infrastructure system; Fire prevention and fighting and construction equipment installation items.

Upon completion, the MuseumMilitary Region 4is a modern architectural highlight of the landscape of Vinh city. With a multi-functional, comprehensive, typical cultural institution, it comprehensively and deeply reflects the glorious fighting tradition and typical military cultural heritage of the North Central region. It is one of the cultural centers, the information center on military history; a red address for traditional education for the young generation; a tourist attraction, a place for community cultural activities of cadres, soldiers, students, people of all walks of life and tourists; contributing to preserving and promoting the quintessence of the national military cultural heritage./.
