Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Community House for Disaster Prevention - Nam Cuong Commune Health Station

(Baonghean.vn) -On February 27, the Central Region Disaster Prevention Support Fund in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee, the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of Nghe An province, together with the sponsor, the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Nghe An branch, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Community Disaster Prevention House - Nam Cuong Commune Health Station - Nam Dan District.

Nam Cuong Commune Health Station has a two-story building, an area of ​​nearly 400m2, a floor area of ​​730m2; all rooms meet the standards set by the Ministry of Health. In addition to the purpose of daily medical examination and treatment, it also ensures service for 200-250 users to avoid flooding.

The construction cost of the project is 4 billion 135 million VND, of which the Central Region Disaster Prevention Support Fund, Nghe An Branch of the Bank for Industry and Trade, sponsored 2.2 billion VND, the provincial budget supported 20%, the rest was from the district and commune budgets and mobilized from other legal capital sources.

The project was constructed in 5 months, aiming to put the project into use during the flood and storm season of 2012. The completed project will contribute effectively to medical examination and treatment as well as flood avoidance for the people of Nam Cuong commune, one of the 5 communes that are often deeply flooded in the Nam Nam area, right bank of Nam Dan district.
