Groundbreaking ceremony for the new headquarters of Nghe An Radio and Television Station
(Baonghean.vn)- With a scale of 12 floors and a modern infrastructure system, with a unique architectural style, the new headquarters of Nghe An Radio and Television Station is expected to be one of the urban architectural highlights of Vinh city in the future.
On June 17, in Vinh city, Nghe An Television held a groundbreaking ceremony to build an office building to serve the operation and production of new television programs. Attending the ceremony were comrades Nguyen Thanh Luong, Deputy Director of Vietnam Television, Chu Hoa, Director of the Department of Information and Publishing, Ministry of Information and Communications, leaders of a number of central agencies, Ha Tinh Radio and Television Station. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Dinh Thi Le Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, comrades leading departments, branches and provincial agencies, and many generations of cadres and employees of Nghe An Radio and Television Station through the periods.

The current office building of Nghe An Radio and Television Station was built 40 years ago. Along with the continuous development of facilities, radio and television equipment as well as human resources, the facility has now degraded and can no longer meet the requirements of development. With the consent of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Nghe An Television Station has established a project to build an office building to serve the operation and production of new programs. The project consists of a 12-storey building with modern architecture and a system of advanced equipment, meeting the development needs of the radio and television industry, in line with the urban architectural development roadmap of Vinh city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that this is a practical project to welcome the 18th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, and an architectural highlight of Vinh city in the future. He requested the investor and contractors to take construction measures to ensure progress, safety, technique and aesthetics.

Appreciating the efforts of the radio and television industry of Nghe An province in recent years, comrade Nguyen Thanh Luong, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, affirmed that the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the new working center of Nghe An Radio and Television Station is a new milestone in the integration and development process of Nghe An province with the goal of turning the provincial television station into a regional television station.
