Arousing entrepreneurial aspirations in youth union members

On the afternoon of December 30, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province - Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province held a conference to review the work of the Union, Association and youth movement in 2020 and deploy tasks in 2021.

Many meaningful projects

In 2020, the work of the Youth Union, Association and youth and children's movement in the area was actively and effectively implemented by the Youth Union at all levels, closely following the work program and associated with the political tasks of the province.

In particular, the Youth Union has had creative and flexible solutions, especially in propaganda work to ensure strict implementation of policies and directions of the Government, Party committees and authorities in conjunction with the work of continuing to ensure prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Launch and organize meaningful competitions, creating healthy and useful playgrounds for children. Movementyouth volunteerThere is a qualitative change, innovation in implementation methods suitable to each unit's conditions, ensuring absolute safety in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic.

During the year, 2 provincial youth projects, 132 district youth projects, 2,965 grassroots youth projects, etc. were implemented.

The work of building the Youth Union, expanding the front of solidarity and gathering young people, and the Youth Union participating in building and protecting the Party and the political system has been focused on. The development of new members has been focused on, especially the rate of solidarity and gathering young people has increased.

At the same time, the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province has had practical activities that have made a clear mark in the youth movement.

Stimulate start-up and career

At the conference, delegates shared experiences and good practices in Youth Union activities and youth movements, proposed solutions to help young people encourage creativity and innovation in starting a business; and proposed methods for managing statistics on youth activities in the whole province.

The opinions of the Youth Union officials are concerned about the limited quality and effectiveness of the Youth Union's activities; the need to increase the rate of gathering youth union members at the grassroots level; strengthen professional training for the Youth Union organizations at the grassroots level; connect and manage loan sources for young people to start businesses; pay attention to political education for youth union members, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Ho Le Ngoc acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the Youth Union and youth movement in 2020. The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee emphasized the task of the Youth Union in orienting, leading, and proposing practical solutions to gather union members; creating a source for Party development. At the same time, promoting the role of young people in establishing themselves and building their homeland and country.

Deploying the tasks in 2021, with the theme of "Youth start-ups and careers", Provincial Youth Union Secretary Le Van Luong requested that Youth Union chapters at all levels continue to strongly promote the pioneering and creative role of young people in participating in socio-economic development; arouse aspirations and entrepreneurial spirit; create an environment to support young people to start-ups and careers; create playgrounds and creative and entrepreneurial competitions among youth union members.

Focus on implementing solutions to improve the quality of outstanding union members to introduce to the Party for consideration of admission, in which, focus on reviewing and ensuring standards and conditions for admission; increase the rate of new party members admitted from outstanding union members. Continue to strengthen the Union organization, the quality of union members and union cadres; expand the solidarity front to gather young people.

Youth Union chapters at all levels need to create many movements and playgrounds for young people; accompany young people to improve the quality of their spiritual life, train their physical strength, etc.

On this occasion, the Central Youth Union leaders awarded Emulation Flags to 4 collectives and Certificates of Merit to 22 collectives and 36 individuals with outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and youth movements in 2020.
