Launching the Mobile Propaganda Festival of Songs That Go Through the Years
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 3, at the Do Luong Revolutionary Monument, the Department of Grassroots Culture organized the launching ceremony of the Mobile Propaganda Festival to celebrate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017). Attending were 6 mass art troupes from the provinces: Thai Nguyen, Lai Chau, Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Hai Phong and Thanh Hoa.

The mobile propaganda festival is an important activity in the series of events celebrating the country's major holidays in 2017; expressing the Party, State and people's honor and gratitude to the generations who sacrificed their blood for peace and national unification.
At the departure ceremony, representatives of the Department of Grassroots Culture, the Mobile Propaganda Festival delegation of 6 provinces and the leaders of Do Luong district offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland. After the departure ceremony, the delegations will go to the Central provinces to organize a mobile propaganda festival to celebrate the War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27.
Previously, on the afternoon of July 2, the delegations went to the legendary Truong Bon National Historical Site to offer incense and flowers to pay respect to the souls of the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives at the Truong Bon fire line.
The delegation also came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate and pay tribute to heroic martyrs and Vietnamese volunteer military experts on international missions in Laos.

The festival is a special art program with the participation of over 100 actors from mobile propaganda teams from 6 northern provinces with songs about the war that have accompanied the years. The performances express gratitude to wounded soldiers, martyrs and those who have contributed to the revolution. On this occasion, the troupe performed an art program to serve the people of Do Luong on the evening of July 2./.
