Prosecuted 2 subjects for stealing property of driver involved in accident in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 11, 2016, the People's Procuracy of Do Luong district approved the Decision to prosecute and issue an arrest warrant for Nguyen Ba Nga and Nguyen Ba Duong (both residing in Hamlet 7, Nhan Son Commune, Do Luong District, Nghe An Province) for the crime of "Theft of property".

According to initial investigation results, at 0:15 a.m. on May 10, Mr. Tran Duc Loi, born in 1992, drove a car carrying grease and bran to deliver goods to customers.

Due to the driver losing sleep, the car overturned into a field in Nhan Son commune (Do Luong). After driving out of the cockpit, taking advantage of the absence of anyone watching the goods, Nga and Duong quickly stole 04 barrels of Zicx 5000 oil; 01 barrel of Zicx 5000 grease; 08 bags of Con Stork M15 animal feed, with a total asset value of 12.07 million VND.

After stealing the above goods, the two subjects also asked the car owner to pay 1.6 million VND to return 4 barrels of Zicx 5000 oil to the car owner.

Currently, the two subjects are being detained by the Do Luong District Police. The assets have been seized by the investigation agency and returned to the victim.
