Prosecuted 8 subjects illegally buying and selling invoices, causing losses of billions of dong
Authorities have just prosecuted 8 defendants and arrested 3 people for the crime of "Illegal trading of invoices", causing a loss of billions of dong in state tax revenue.
According to the initial investigation results of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, related to the activitiesillegal land exploitationoccurred in the Canh Chim hill area in Bac Son ward, Bim Son town (bordering the mine area of Tien Chung Company Limited), on April 6, the Office of the Provincial Police Department of Investigation discovered and caught red-handed 2 excavators and 12 cars mining soil outside the licensed mine area.

According to the police, from April 2024 until being discovered and arrested, the subjects Tran Tien Chung (born in 1978), Pham Van Phuc (born in 1978) and Trinh Ngoc Tuan (born in 1964), all residing in Bim Son town, had exploited more than 350,000 cubic meters of soil outside the mine area, equivalent to more than 20 billion VND.
Up to now, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency has prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused, and temporarily detained the above 3 subjects for the crime of "Violating regulations on resource exploitation".
Expanding the investigation, the Investigation Police Agency prosecuted 8 more subjects for the crime of "Illegal trading of invoices", causing a loss of billions of dong in state tax revenue.

According to the investigation results, from the beginning of 2024 to March 2025, Nguyen Thi Tung (born in 1965), was the Director of Yen The Company Limited, located in Quarter 7, Ba Dinh Ward, Bim Son Town, specializing in the field of construction materials and transportation.
The subject regularly colluded with a number of other companies in the provinces of Hoa Binh and Ninh Binh to buy and sell fake value-added invoices, then carried out procedures to legalize documents and illegally profited hundreds of millions of dong, causing a loss of billions of dong in state tax revenue.
The case is continuing to be investigated and clarified by the police.
