Director of Ministry of Defense company fraud prosecuted
After signing a steel purchase contract worth more than 600 million VND with Thanh An Company (under Thanh An Corporation - Army Corps 11Ministry of Defense),Nguyen Tuan Anh took the above money for personal use.

On November 30, Hoan Kiem District Police (Hanoi) announced that they had prosecuted and detained for four months Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh (born in 1981, living in Cau Go alley, Hang Bac, Hoan Kiem), Director of Chuong Duong Metal Trading Construction Joint Stock Company (headquartered in room 601, 6th floor, Building No. 1, Dinh Le, Hoan Kiem).
Previously, Hoan Kiem District Police received a report from Thanh An 141 Company, under Thanh An General Corporation - Army Corps 11, Ministry of National Defense.
According to this report, on April 26, 2012, Thanh An 141 Company signed economic contract 010/HDKT-2012 on steel purchase and sale, with a total contract value of more than 626 million VND with Chuong Duong Metal Construction Trading Joint Stock Company, with Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh (born in 1981, in Cau Go alley, Hang Bac, Hoan Kiem) as Director.
After Thanh An 141 Company transferred money to the account ofChuong Duong Metal Construction Trading Company, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh withdrew all of the above money for personal use without delivering the steel as agreed in the contract with Thanh An 141 Company, and is now no longer able to pay.
The case is currently being investigated and handled by Hoan Kiem District Police.
