(Baonghean.vn) - The sample in the pot of water that Hue put in to kill her husband was concluded by authorities to be a deadly poison.

On April 15, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tat Thang - Chief of Nghi Loc District Police, Nghe An, said that he had prosecuted Dau Thi Hue (born in 1988, residing in Nghi Lam Commune, Nghi Loc District) for murder.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Thang, the Institute of Criminal Science (Ministry of Public Security) has concluded that the sample collected in the pot of boiled intestines that Hue personally put in was determined to be poison. "This is a type of drug that will kill if ingested," said the district police chief.

Previously, after a period of separation, on March 26, Dau Thi Hue and her husband Phan Truong Phi met to agree on a divorce. That night, Phi was boiling pig intestines for dinner when he went out to get something. When he returned to the kitchen, he saw the pot of water had changed color, and he suspected that Hue, who was in the house at the time, had poisoned him. He questioned her, but she denied it and left the house.

At the scene, the police seized a 20% Fokeba shell and determined it was a highly toxic rat poison. Two days later, Hue turned herself in and admitted to poisoning her husband. The investigation agency requested a sample of the item for examination.
