Prosecution of group of young men who shot and killed someone at a wedding

(Baonghean.vn)- Due to a conflict while attending a wedding, three young men in Tang village, Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district used a homemade gun to shoot and kill a third-year student at Vinh University.

On December 26, 2013, the Department of Investigation of Social Order Crimes, Nghe An Police completed the file and prosecuted three subjects Cao Xuan Thanh (born 1986), Cao Xuan Thuy (born 1990), both residing in Tang village, Tien Phong commune, and Pham Van Phuc (born 1985), residing in block 6, Kim Son town, Que Phong district, for the crime of "Murder".

Their victim was Nguyen Nhu Que Anh (born in 1992), residing in Block 2, Kim Son Town, Que Phong District, currently a third-year student at the Faculty of Physical Education - Vinh University. Previously, on the morning of December 18, while taking a break from reviewing for exams, Que Anh went back to his hometown to visit and attend a wedding.

At the wedding party, Que Anh had a conflict and scuffle with Cao Xuan Thuy, causing Thuy to be injured and taken to Que Phong District Hospital for first aid before returning home. Upon learning that his younger brother was beaten, Cao Xuan Thanh invited his friend Pham Van Phuc to bring a homemade gun to Que Anh's house to "teach him a lesson".

As soon as they met Que Anh, the group of young men started arguing and cursing loudly. Seeing that, Que Anh took a sword and slashed Thuy's head. Seeing that, Cao Xuan Thanh pulled out a gun from his shirt, aimed it at Que Anh and pulled the trigger.

After the loud explosion, the victim collapsed. People immediately took Que Anh to the emergency room, but because of the seriousness of his injuries, the male student died. After committing the crime, the gang fled into the forest. Knowing that they could not escape, Thanh, Thuy and Phuc all went to the Que Phong district police station to surrender.
