Vinh City Police have just issued an order to prosecute the case and temporarily detain Nguyen Tien Thanh (born in 1964), residing in Duc Lac commune, Duc Tho district (Ha Tinh) for the crime of violating regulations on driving road vehicles.
Previously, as reported by Baonghean.vn, on the afternoon of April 15, on Lenin Avenue (Vinh City), Nguyen Tien Thanh drove a black Santafe with license plate 37S 0164 at very high speed from Vinh Airport to the city center, suddenly lost control, hit and killed Ms. Phan Thi Xuan (born in 1963) and Pham Viet Phuc (born in 1982), residing in Hamlet 8 - Minh Thanh Commune - who were riding a motorbike, then drove freely onto the sidewalk.

After the accident, Nguyen Tien Thanh suffered minor injuries and was taken to Hospital 115 for first aid. Vinh City Police arrived at the scene and temporarily detained the driver who caused the accident for investigation. Thanh borrowed the car from a friend.
