At around 3:35 p.m. the same day, Ms. Van led her Yamaha Nouvo motorbike with license plate 37B1-195.01, worth about 15 million VND, out of the gate to go watch a football match at Nam Hung Commune Stadium with her daughter, Nguyen Thi Tra G., when she saw a young man driving a motorbike stopping near the gate. After that, the young man got off the motorbike and gave a 50,000 VND bill to Giang. Suspecting that the bad guy intended to kidnap her daughter, Ms. Van panicked, quickly ran over, and hugged her daughter.
Immediately, the young man rushed to take Ms. Van's motorbike and started the engine and ran away. Ms. Van followed the motorbike and shouted for help from the locals, but the subject accelerated, dragging Ms. Van about 200m in the middle of the road and then ran away to National Highway 15A in the direction of Nam Dan - Vinh City. The young man left the Yamaha Exciter motorbike with license plate 37M1-063.22 at the gate of Ms. Van's house.
Upon receiving the report, Nam Dan District Police arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation, take statements from the victim and related people, and verify the real owner of the motorbike that the suspect left at the scene. Seeing that, Ms. Van hurriedly ran over to hug Giang, the subject immediately ran to take the car, started the engine and drove away to Vinh City to have fun.
