Prosecuted young man for violating alcohol concentration, attacking traffic police
Tuyen Quang Provincial Police said they have initiated a case and prosecuted Nguyen Van Hau (born in 1990, in Lang Quan commune, Yen Son district) for the crime of "Resisting a person on official duty".
Previously, at around 10:25 p.m. on October 19, on National Highway 2, Trung Mon Commune, Yen Son District (Tuyen Quang Province), the Traffic Accident Handling Team between two motorbikes with license plate 22B1-059.XX driven by Nguyen Van Hau collided with motorbike with license plate 22B2-695.XX driven by Ms. Pham Thi Luong (born in 1988, in Kim Phu Commune, Tuyen Quang City).

The accident only left Ms. Luong with minor injuries. However, despite being explained, Nguyen Van Hau still refused to take a breathalyzer test and threw his helmet onto the road.
Not only that, this person also used vulgar language, cursed, challenged and attacked a traffic police officer.
After that, Nguyen Van Hau shouted and gave false information that he was beaten, injured, and threatened by the traffic police to put pressure. This person also lay on the road, refused to comply with the alcohol concentration test, so he was restrained and taken to the headquarters for questioning.
At the police station, Nguyen Van Hau confessed that the purpose of performing the above acts was to hinder the traffic police so that they could not check his alcohol concentration, not handle the traffic accident that Hau caused and had previously used alcohol.
After testing for alcohol concentration, the police determined that Nguyen Van Hau had an alcohol concentration of 0.858 mg/liter of breath.
