Prosecution of "land broker" case in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Dien Chau police have decided to initiate criminal proceedings and prosecute a group of "land brokers" for disturbing public order and destroying or intentionally damaging property.
Previously, on December 23, in Hamlet 6, Dien Thanh Commune, there was a fight between two groups of "land brokers".
The initial cause was determined to be two groups of land brokers in Quynh Luu district, due to uneven division of profits, they made an appointment to meet in Dien Thanh commune to resolve the matter and a conflict arose.

Realizing the complexity of the case, Dien Chau District Police established Project 217G to expand the investigation.
Accordingly, on January 31, Dien Chau Police issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, prosecute the accused for the crime of "disturbing public order and destroying or intentionally damaging property", and issued an emergency arrest warrant for the two accused Thai Ba Cuong (born in 1991), Dien Thanh commune and Ngo Van Han (born in 1991), Dien Ngoc commune. Cuong and Han are the leaders of two groups of land brokers.
This is the first time Dien Chau police have prosecuted a case related to land brokers.
Faced with the current rampant land brokering situation that has caused public outrage and budget loss, Dien Chau police are focusing on restoring order in this area.
