Prosecution of the case of sending crew members to foreign waters to fish
This is the first case prosecuted by the authorities of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province that occurred in the province's coastal border area.
The Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced today that it has just issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case of "Organizing illegal exit for others", related to the case of a fishing boat captain from Binh Dinh taking the boat and 5 crew members to foreign waters to illegally fish.

According to the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, this is the first case prosecuted by authorities that occurred in the province's maritime border area.
Previously, on May 17, the provincial Border Guard received a complaint from the people that Mr. NB, the owner and captain of the Binh Dinh fishing boat number BD 3XXX3 TS, had taken the boat and 5 crew members to foreign waters to illegally fish.
After receiving the information, the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province directed the professional department to urgently investigate and verify the incident.
From the initial verification results, the authorities determined that Mr. NB's behavior showed signs of the crime of "Organizing illegal exit for others", so they decided to initiate criminal proceedings.
Currently, the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has handed over the case file and evidence to the Provincial Police Investigation Security Agency for further investigation and handling.
