At this moment, two cars carrying Hai Phong fans arrived and stopped. One car stopped in front carrying young people and the other car stopped behind carrying a group of older fans.

Consequences: Referee Vo Minh Tri was hit in the face, chest and both hands. After about 15 minutes, the Hai Phong fans got in the car and left for Ho Chi Minh City.

The incident was then reported to local police and reported to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and higher authorities.
