Universities and colleges summarize emulation work of the 2012-2013 school year
(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of July 19, the Block of Universities and Colleges held a conference to summarize the emulation work of the 2012-2013 school year. Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors and 8 Universities and Colleges in the block.
Overview of the conference.
In the 2012-2013 school year, emulation movements in schools were widely organized to all staff, lecturers, students; exceeding the year's targets and tasks in all fields of work. The enrollment rate was constantly improved: Vinh Medical University reached 103.6%; Pedagogical College increased by 20% compared to the previous school year; Tourism and Trade Vocational College reached 106%...
Along with that, schools have had many solutions to improve training quality: investing in facilities; building a team of lecturers; promoting scientific research movements; linking training with job creation... Thanks to that, the rate of students graduating with good and excellent grades of the schools has increased: Vinh Medical University has a good and excellent graduation rate of 80%; College of Economics and Technology has 39%; Vocational College No. 4 of the Ministry of National Defense has 75%...; many students of the schools have won high prizes in provincial and national level exams and competitions.

In addition, cultural, artistic and sports movements of organizations in the union are maintained and strongly developed, contributing to building a healthy pedagogical environment and educating soft skills for students.
As a result, at the end of the 2012-2013 school year, 8/8 schools achieved the title of excellent labor collective; proposed to award the Prime Minister's Emulation Flag to Vinh Medical University; awarded the Provincial People's Committee's Emulation Flag to Vinh Medical University and Vietnam-Korea Vocational College of Technology.
Targets for the 2013-2014 school year: 100% of schools in the cluster achieve the title of excellent labor collective; 1 collective receives the emulation flag from the Prime Minister; 1-2 schools receive the emulation flag from the Provincial People's Committee and 2-3 schools receive Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee.
